20th Annual Conference and Workshops
October 13-15, 2010 Duluth, Minnesota
Registration is now open! The 20th Annual Minnesota GIS/LIS Consortium Conference and Workshops will be held Oct. 13th through 15th, 2010 at the DECC in Duluth, Minnesota. The event will feature structured workshops, technical sessions, panel discussions, technology demonstrations, project updates and dynamic speakers. All are geared toward professionals interested in learning more about geographic information systems and land information systems technology in Minnesota and beyond. Highlights this year include two nationally recognized keynote speakers and a welcome reception at the Great Lakes Aquarium!

Consortium 2009 Annual Report Now Available
This report includes the Consortium's accomplishments as well as a financial overview for 2009. Click HERE to view the report.
The 2009 Salary Survey report is now available, as approved by the Board on November 20, 2009. The Survey Questionnaire was open in September and received responses from approximately 15% of the Consortium's email distribution list. Thanks to all who participated and helped bring this report together.

The Minnesota GIS/LIS Consortium is a forum for communicating information to, and improving cooperation among, those interested in Geographic Information Systems (GIS) and Land Information Systems (LIS) in the State of Minnesota. Members include GIS users in local, state and federal government agencies; business and industry; and educational institutions. Membership is free just by being on our mailing list. The Consortium hosts annual statewide conferences, and establishes committees that deal with specific GIS/LIS-related issues in Minnesota. Opportunities to participate in Consortium activities are available through volunteer work with committees, conferences and workshops. The Minnesota GIS/LIS Consortium is an official 501c3 non-profit organization.
